Below are a few helpful details to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Do I need to RSVP?

Yes, please! Kindly RSVP by the date listed on your invitation so we can finalize seating and catering.

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at The Fort Hamilton Club located on the Ft. Hamilton Military Base in Brooklyn, New York.

Do I need special access to enter the base?

Yes. Because Fort Hamilton is an active military installation, all guests and vendors ages 18 and older must complete a security background screening before the wedding. A REAL ID or Enhanced Driver’s License is also required for entry on the day of the wedding. If you do not have a REAL ID or Enhanced Drivers License, another form of identification is required. Please refer to the Base Access section of this website for more details.

When should I submit my security paperwork?

We kindly ask that all paperwork be submitted as early as possible to allow ample time for processing. Your cooperation helps make arrival on our wedding day seamless for everyone.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony starts at exactly 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive 30–45 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for base entry, parking, and finding your seat before the ceremony begins.

What is the dress code?

We would be honored if you joined us in formal attire as we celebrate the covenant God has written for our lives.

Can I bring a guest?

To honor our seating arrangements and base security requirements, we are only able to accommodate the guests whose names appear on the invitation.

Is parking available?

Yes! Complimentary parking will be available on base.

Is there a hotel nearby?

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at a hotel located on base for the convenience of our guests. If you’re interested in booking a room or learning about the discounted rates, please reach out to us.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are planning an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you silence your phones and put away cameras until after we say “I do.” Your presence means more to us than any photograph, and our professional photographer will capture every precious moment.

What if my legal name is different from the one on my invitation?

Please let us know as soon as possible. Since all guests must pass a security screening, we want to ensure your paperwork matches your government-issued identification and our guest list at the main gate.

Whom should I contact if I have questions?

If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out. We would be happy to help however we can! :)
